The West Coast landscape, particularly Howe Sound with its nuances of form, colour and light is the inspiration of many of Michael’s paintings. Whether working in oils, acrylics or water colours, themes relating to the play of light and reflections, and the meditative sense of serenity that these phenomena provide, moves his creative spirit to action.
